Oil on linen

I created this piece in response to the feeling of being caught in an in-between. I find at many points in life, one can find themself holding onto something that no longer serves them--an idea, a place, a relationship. Staring into the uncertainty of what comes next, it can be difficult to let go of the familiar, despite knowing deep down that this, here, is no longer right.
